Danish Christmas Church Service
Sunday, December 15, 2013, 2 p.m.
St. John’s Lutheran Church
272 Crichton Street, Ottawa

As the year is coming to an end and we start celebrating the busy and wonderful Christmas Season, the Danish Club of Ottawa will celebrate with a Danish Christmas Service.

This year we welcome to Ottawa the newly arrived Pastor Kenneth Berg and his wife, Mette, from Toronto. We hope the Capital City will look beautiful with all the lit Christmas lights and white snow on the ground when they arrive. But not too cold!

The Service is in Danish, as are our beloved hymns. But afterwards in the Church Hall next door we will speak either Danish or English around the coffee table. It is customary that we eat æbleskiver med syltetøj (apple donuts with jam) baked by Eva, Bodil and Peter, as well as other Christmas goodies brought by some generous ladies who like to bake, accompanied by tea or coffee. Everyone is welcome! Hope to see you there!
